We had a fantastic evening yesterday with our friends, the superb Atlantic Brass Band. Both bands were on great form and we got to hear the programme Atlantic Brass Band are playing tomorrow at the Sage in Gateshead for Brass in Concert. All the best of luck from TCTC Group Band.
Well the Americans are landing in an hour at Manchester having taken off from a very snowy Philadelphia airport. They have a restful afternoon after the flight ready for a great concert this evening

This Sunday we will be leading the Royal British Legion Holmes Chapel Remembrance Parade.
A date that we especially look forward to each year - this is our 34th consecutive parade in Holmes Chapel.
Before this we have a performance in Crewe Town on Saturday from 4 pm for the “When the lights go out” event come and remember with us this special weekend.

Currently we are having a great time in the US with Melanie Ball and Carl Ball of Atlantic brass. So hospitable with plenty of things to see and do. Next rehearsal is Thursday evening before we fly back on Friday - too soon it’s great here
Sarah Sparkles (Sparkes) our principal Cornet player is visiting the US this week to rehearse with Atlantic Brass ahead of their Scottish Open performance. Sarah’s very pleased to be stayIng with former banders of our very own Mel and Carl Ball.

Yesterday afternoons concert with the Co operative Youth Wind bands was yet again a great success.
The organisation of the event was first class and the quality of young players was excellent - that is how to promote and inspire young players well done all.
TCTC Group Band enjoyed a repeat of our Austrian Best Bits and played brilliantly
