Happy New Year all.
Happy Christmas to all of our followers and supporters. Thanks for all of your kind words of support over the last couple of days, it means a lot to both the band and Strim’s family. Enjoy time with family and friends. We’ll all be raising a glass to our pal Strimmer throughout the day. Love to all xxx
We are very sorry and sad to announce that Phil Edworthy (Strimmer) passed away this morning following a very short illness. Phil has been with the band for 28 years, sitting in various seats, but most recently on 2nd baritone. Strimmer was a gent, a perfect bandsman and a legend in our band. It’ll take a long time for us to get over this one. Our thoughts go out to Phil’s family. Rest in peace Strim you’ll always have a place in the band and will never be forgotten. X
Very pleased to have Ewan Campbell a Director of the bands sponsor playing for us last night. It was the bands final group concert of the year, our hosts the Equali Choir were on top form at Gt Budworth Church, many thanks to the full audiance who supported us both - Happy Christmas from us all at TCTC Group Band
